Julian called it a classic Web 2.0 video in the session one online chat link in the online discussion and its the same video linked from Ben’s blog and I also thught it was interesting enough to include at the bottom of the intro page here .

The video is a history of text based technologies including development of the web and it says something interesting about how learning and information is now being communicated and has changed. It is pretty impressive but do you agree with what the video is trying to say about these shifts? Is it making a valid point? What is that point?

The same author of that video might have moved on he did another video more recently with his students after he surveyed them. I think he is a little bit more targeted in his criticism here. Do you agree with what he is suggesting here ? Do you think there is something inherently wrong with either lectures or with the online culture of students?
